I'm a Chef and writer who has an immense passion for what I do. I tend to rant and ramble on a variety of subjects, hence the title of this blog. The "in-training" part of the title comes from my belief that no matter how experienced a chef may be, he or she should always be training him- or herself and constantly striving to become better.

Shit....

So I'm supposed to be starting my spring internship at the beginning of March, but I got a call from Chef Gladysz at The Hotel Hershey today, and he told me that he won't be able to start me until the first week of April at the earliest... Talk about a way to add an INSANE amount of anxiety and stress to my life... I'm serious, if I have to find a new place to do my internship, I'm fucked, because I haven't explored any other options... I could always do a guided internship here in Charlotte, but I was really looking forward to being able to go home at the end of February...

ugh.......
