So... today I had my stewing practical in Traditional European Cuisine... It went fairly well... got a 90%... I made Coq Au Vin... sauce was too thin, but it tasted great :)
Anyway... I'm super excited for Thanksgiving Break... I have off from the end of class on the 18th to the 29th, and I'm going to be going home, which means I get to see everybody. I'm hoping I can plan a movie day or something like that... I haven't decided yet... I would say let me know what you think, but nobody reads this thing anyway :p
So yeah... After Thanksgiving, I'll be starting my academic classes, which follow a more "traditional" college schedule... I figured I needed a break from 7am-1pm labs... plus I wanted to be able to have time for a job...
Well... I think that's all that's on my mind right now... Not a great update, but it's an update nonetheless...

- I'm a Chef and writer who has an immense passion for what I do. I tend to rant and ramble on a variety of subjects, hence the title of this blog. The "in-training" part of the title comes from my belief that no matter how experienced a chef may be, he or she should always be training him- or herself and constantly striving to become better.
